You don't come here for plush furnishings and fancy crockery. It's all about the food and the friendly welcome. Super-fresh ingredients prepared in an open kitchen for a manageable (by Chinese restaurant terms) menu with sufficient variety but far from overwhelming. Dim sum is excellent, but so are many of the other dishes. I have never been disappointed and neither have the friends I have brought here. Delighted they have reopened and are currently doing take away.
Panda is great, the dim sum is lovey and so are the other dishes, you will always be welcomed warmly and even if you haven’t booked they will try and fit you in the best they can.
All the dim sum and bum options are great and you can’t go wrong, good vegi options also.
The Chinese broccoli with garlic is great and the double cooked pork.
The staff here are lovey and always happy to help and always have a smile.
It’s BYOB bring your own booze, which is great (lots of shops around to grab a bottle etc).
The decor is very simple but reminded me of some of the best dim sum places in Asia I had visited.
The taste of the food was very similar to that of dim sum in Asia also.
All the food is made there and you can see them preparing the dim sum and other dishes.
Prices are not that bad either, well worth a visit and I will definitely be back.
Cycled in the pouring rain for 25mins to get dim sum after missing it during lockdown. Was perfect, will be back again for sure.
Dumplings were perfectly pan fried and the dan dan noodles and king prawn stir fry noodles were generous in serving and tasted delicious. A lovely Chinese restaurant.
Wow! Such tasty food and really friendly staff. Can see the dim sum being made at the back, fresh! The wonton soup was sooo lovely and warming and the roast duck dumplings were nuts! Can’t wait to eat here again
