Decided to try somewhere different and local for lunch with a friend. As per the reviews, we were looking forward to Panda.

Sadly the aubergine and fried tofu dishes were incredibly oily and quite salty. We had the beef mince dumplings which are made in house which were not good. The dough doesn’t taste good and the beef didn’t seem like great quality. The sweetcorn soup was okay but lacked flavour without the chicken. The jasmine tea was great.

As you can see from the photo we didn’t finish much as the food didn’t make us feel good. Won’t be returning.

Such a hidden gem! The siomai was incredible but so are the other dishes that we have ordered.

Highly recommended! Will definitely be back

Such a gem in Leytonstone. Handmade dim sum, very chilled out inside. The curry dumplings are delish and the people working there are friendly. You won't be disappointed by any of your choices. 💗

I went for dim sum by myself, although I also really like the fish slices. (Another time). All of the dim sum I had was great. You can tell that they’re made on site. The people are lovely and you can see what they’re doing in the kitchen. The only downside is that they’re ’cash only’ or bank transfer and I suspect that this puts some people off. (Who pays with cash nowadays).

Honestly the best Chinese food I've ever had. The flavours used, textures in the food, the sheer amount of amazing handiwork put into the prep of every dish is amazing.

Lovely home-from-home atmosphere - family- run gem!

It's a must visit and I dream about the food for days after - that's a sign of a great restaurant!
